Start your adventure with our convenient car drop-off service. Park at Wainui Car Park, and we’ll transfer you to Totaranui. From there, enjoy a rewarding 15 km hike back to Wainui along one of the most scenic stretches of the Abel Tasman. For those wanting a little extra, you can add the Separation Point loop for even more breathtaking views.
Option 2 – For the Explorers
Drive to Totaranui and hop on the 11 am water taxi to Bark Bay. From Bark Bay, set off on a spectacular 3-hour coastal walk to Awaroa Lodge. Once you arrive, it’s straight onto the 3 pm water taxi back to Totaranui—no time for a sit-down meal, but plenty of memories from a big day exploring.
Option 3 – For the Wine & Diners
For a more relaxed pace, drive to Totaranui and take the 11 am water taxi to Onetahuti. From there, enjoy a gentle 1.5-hour walk back to Awaroa Lodge, where a delicious lunch and refreshing drinks await. After your meal, board the 3 pm water taxi back to Totaranui—combining stunning scenery with indulgent dining.
