Tent Korimako

Tent Korimako offers breath taking panoramic ocean views and a serene escape surrounded bay native bush. Guests can relax in the comfort of this luxurious glamping tent year round. The tent features a cozy interior complete with a log burner and underfloor heating in the bathroom to keep you completely warm in winter. In summer our floor to ceiling mesh windows fill the tent with fresh cool summer breeze giving you the ultimate temperature for relaxing and sleeping.

Complete with a full afternoon sun exposure, bird song, two outdoor vintage baths and an outdoor fire pit for toasting marshmallows, it makes for the perfect romantic getaway. As part of the stay, guests will have access to an electric buggy for exploring the property and nearby Tata Beach. A delicious breakfast for two is included, as well as amenities such as fast unlimited free Wi-Fi, a Super King bed, outdoor BBQ, beach towels, bath robes and luxury linens and bath towels.

Guests can take advantage of a hairdryer, 24 hour host assistance with a quick response time, and easy self check in for a hassle free stay.

We have just returned from our stay with Drift Off Grid. Two days of luxury and relaxation. We were immediately bowled over by the location, the beautifully presented accommodation, the comfort and style (it knocks your socks off), the minute attention to detail, the view out over Golden Bay, the outdoor baths sitting side by side on the private deck, the electric buggy used for an exciting and practical way to get to the ‘tent’. I could go on and on but suffice to say this was the best getaway experience we have ever had. The comfort and style was wonderful and our hosts such lovely people. Exceeded all expectations!! This glamping tent provides the most tranquil environment for reprieve. The inside of the tent is beautifully furnished and decorated and the panoramic view of Tata Bay that you see from your tent is breathtaking. Jana does not miss a beat with her attention to detail. She is extremely responsive and aims to please her guests. Would highly recommend this stay to all family and friends that visit the Golden Bay region. Your tent was by far our best and most unique stay in our travels across New Zealand! Thank you for letting us enjoy a little piece of heaven on earth. We hope to be back sometime in the future!

We had a fabulous time at Drift Off Grid, the tent was incredible, the location perfect and Jana and Drew were very attentive hosts. Even the birdsong gets 5 stars! If you are looking for a true luxury glamping experience in a fabulous location with pristine waters, golden sand and views to die for, then look no further.

WOW!!! Magnificent in every way. The most luxurious glamming tent with a million dollar view. Tastefully furnished with incredible attention to detail. You will not want to leave. Very close to cute takaka town which has everything you need. Will definitely be back! Jana was the most unbelievable communicator and host. LOVE LOVE LOVE !

Absolutely amazing spot for anyone looking for a unique experience in one of New Zealands hidden gems. The Glamping tent has all the amenities one could think of and views to die for. I've stayed in places all over the world and this would have to be one of my favorite places, the owners have done a brilliant job with how the place is designed and while you are in a tent it is a completely luxurious experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a private getaway.
